Although manufacturers don't yet sell cameras which image in infrared light only, various services exist which can convert regular digital cameras of any type to "seeing" in infrared.  I've had several camera bodies converted and infrared photography works particularly well on foliage (turns white), water and sky (the latter two generally darken).  Black and White infrared photography reminds one of the old infrared films and heavy red filters which could produce similar results to modern, infrared converted cameras but a very much new esthetic is color infrared because the filtering does let in some color information.  In my infrared photography, I decide, at the photoshop stage whether to process the image in pure black and white or limited color.
